Scott Armstrong

  • With over 30 years of experience in the UK energy and sustainability market, Scott brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. His sustainability journey began whilst working on the energy supply side, championing the use of energy interval data for use in energy efficiency.

Transitioning into energy and carbon risk management consultancy, Scott then spent the next spent 10 years collaborating with leading UK organisations on their decarbonisation strategies, notably serving as Operations Director at Utilyx, a leading energy and carbon risk management consultancy.

As the former Head of Energy and Sustainability at UK leisure group Bourne Leisure (Haven Holidays, Warner Leisure Hotels and Butlin’s Resorts), Scott spearheaded sustainability initiatives that reduced the company’s carbon footprint by an impressive 42%. His accreditation as an ESOS Lead Assessor in 2015 authorised by the Environment Agency underscored his lifelong commitment to driving impactful change through cogent actions.

As a former Chairman of the Energy Managers Association and a Fellow of this organisation, Scott has been deeply involved in shaping the landscape of energy management in the UK. His dedication to advancing corporate sustainability led him to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Planet Mark, a sustainable certification business. Scott is truly passionate about corporate sustainability compliance, energy efficiency, clean energy, nature-based solutions, net zero transition and sustainable technology. His committed to supporting sustainable business transformation and ambitious environmental action is evidenced in the tangible results achieved in the pursuit of net zero and beyond to a more regenerative world.
